Life has certainly been disjointed, disconnected from family and friends, unlike any we have known.
Prayer can feel like~
You’re talking to yourself
Your grief and pain don’t matter to Him
Your brain starts on its own path when you start to pray
You wonder if what you’re doing really matters
You will be isolated forever
It doesn’t have to be this way.
I have wondered, too, if my grief and pain mattered.
I have experienced the healing touch of Jesus in my own life by being healed from depression and anxiety through a series of prayer conversations.
Just as Jesus healed the woman in the crowd when she touched His hem, I had intimate prayer conversations with Jesus when He called me His beloved.
I have found that I can connect with God in creative ways, such as writing, to live a life that matters, to my family, my grandchildren and the community I live in.
I have also found healing as God brings creative wise women into my life. Being together in community to hear God speak, share our hopes and dreams about this stage of life multiplies God’s blessings.
You can have intimate conversations with God.
